I slept in until 7:30 this morning and it was wonderful. When I was in Pamplona on stage 3 I shipped 3 lbs of stuff I brought but did’nt need to an address in Santiago. I picked that up this morning, ate a great pastry breakfast with espresso, and went on a 1.5 hour guided tour of the cathedral and museum. My disappointment last night is that they did not swimg the giant incense ball.

Now it’s 5pm here and I’m going to walk to the hospital to visit Father Rick. The infection is better but they are still not certain of the toe’s fate. He asked Amy and I to say a prayer for him when we went to St. James crypt this afternoon. We did and lit a candle for him.
