Happy 4th of July.

We had a goat cheese burger and a beer

We are half way finished time wise but not distance-wise today. There are 32 stages. Tonight we are in an albergue run by nuns. Our room has about 18 beds in bunk bed fashion. The price of a bed tonight is 7€. Of course I am yet again in a top bunk. I just checked the power of my sleep buds as I fully expect considerable snoring. The nuns invited us to a singing time in the courtyard. I think that is followed by a church service. I took a quick picture of what part of this summer camp looking room looks like.

A church along the Camino

Today was an easy 12 mile flat day. I pleased to report that the magic cream has improved my tendonitis some. I need it again now.

I have a few pictures of the countryside which is mostly grain but also vast fields of sunflowers and some Spanish lavender.
