“Buen Camino” is something perigrinos say to eac other as they pass each other on the path. I hear it all day but it’s good. We started in Burgos with a temp of low 40’s. A couple of hours later I shed my rain jacket then after coffee and breakfast I shed the jacket the a shirt. Its mid80’s now in the afternoon. Probably more than you care about.
If I didn’t have a group I’m hiking with I would have taken a rest day in Burgos. That city was so so nice. On the way out we spotted several stork nests.

The Meseta (may-say-ta) has a bad reputation for heat and boredom. Since being here I’ve heard only good as far as solitude and mental wellbeing. We hiked through hills and then came to a hilltop overlooking the meseta.
Our first view of Meseta We’re overnighting in this village
Our Covid patient hiked with us today and I expect to hike with Donna the next three weeks. We have hiked about 191 miles to date. We are on the Meseta for the next 140 miles. We expect temps in the 90’s
Sorry I don’t have more. Tonight we have a community dinner at the Albergue which shoud be wonderful. Paella, ensalada, lemon desert and vino tinto.
