The towns just sort of run together along with what I’ve reported on my blog. I talked to Shan today and I repeated what Rick and I discussed briefly today. I told her that we leave 5:30-6:00 am and hike 1-3 hours until we come to a bar/cafe.

Breakfast this morning (best ever) of cafe Americano , tostado con juevos y jamon. Absolutely delicious

We have coffee and figure out what we want to eat from what is sitting out. We hike until early to mid afternoon with a likely break. Some eat lunch. Depending upon what I had for breakfast and what time that was I decide whether to get something. We arrive in our destination village or city and have a beer. We go to our albergue and shower then I write my blog. Sometimes I doze off while writing. We eat supper at 7-7:30 then back to albergue where I’ m asleep 9:30-10. Overnight we heal we hope for the next day. We are at 261 miles complete. Today we crossed the traditional half way landmark.

Half way
Half way point (a different view)

We stopped in a really nice town Sahagun and picked up a half way complete certificate. I did it because something could happen to prevent completion.

The day was cool and extremely windy. After Sahagun we could see rain and lightening storms just north of us. Unbelievable to us we did not get wet. I even stopped and put rain cover on pack and raincoat on me.

Storm Just north of us
Maybe the bridge from the movie The Way where Martin Sheen knocks his pack into the river. In Shahagun.
