Today was very mundane and uneventful unless you consider 18 mile hike to be uneventful . Today was the first rain we’ve encountered. Fortunately it was short lived and part of it was under a big umbrella while eating some lunch. All of the towns run together and I really don’t keep track of any of them. They all sort of look the same. Our first goal after leaving a hostal is to find some coffee and breakfast sandwich. This morning the first cafe was really a small store and the coffee was Kurig. We stopped again soon thereafter for real cafe Americano which is strong and delicious.

While hiking we came across a drink/ food stand My Israeli friends told me to sign his sign with ”Pop” which is what everyone calls me. I’m one of the oldest on any given day.

We have now hiked 100 miles. Tomorrow will be another 18 mile day. I don’t know where we’ll stay but two camino friends reserve me a room in the next town as they make reservations. Last night was my first two bed hotel room with David. The temperature today 78 and tomorrow is about 73. I have not been in air conditioning since the bus a week ago. nothing is air conditioned.
